Comments

English: Comments Comments in your code are more useful when you need to note something about that code line. To comment in your code in C#, just use these two bars // Example: // Require to users entering his gender Console. Writeline ("Enter your gender"); The compiler ignores comments statements, is like doesn't exist. If you comment statements in C#, the compiler won't read it: // Console. ReadLine (); Nothing happens in the code above. You also comment on more than one line, just use /* */ syntax: /* Console. WriteLine ("I'm being ignored by compiler"); Console. WriteLine ("I was ignored too"); Console. WriteLine ("What is here won't go appear in Console"); */ Console. WriteLine ("I'm running in console, that is great!"); Português-BR: Comentários Os comentários no seu código são úteis quando você precisa anotar algo sobre determinada linha de código...

Input and Output

English: Input and Output: One of the most important concepts about programming is the way how any data is inserted into your application and how these information or other information about your program will be returned to the user. These two concepts are called Input and Output. Process to insert values to data inside an application is called Input. It's very normal you input values to applications. For example, when you fill out the form with your data as Name, Gender, School, you are inputting data into an application. Another process is called Output, when the application shows or return to the user, data from it. For example? When you use calculator application and enter 2+2. The output from this input operation is 4 and that result is shown to you. Natively by .Net and C# library these two operations (Input and Output) can be done through two commands: Console. WriteLine () --> This statement is useful when you want to Output to user in Console....

Where Can I write my codes in C#?

English: Where Can I write my codes in C#? Write a code is too much simple, you just must know the syntax of that language (how is its way to be written and structured). Knowing the syntax and the basic about that programming language, you are able to write your code with any tool that you want to, even more a simple notepad application. However, .Net supports a useful interface to code. This interface is called "Visual Studio" by Microsoft. Visual Studio is a powerful IDE (Integrated Development Environment) developers to write code in .Net languages. This IDE has many tools for programming more comfortable. You can create applications in Console, applications with graphics components like forms, DLLs, and more...! Some advantages to programming within Visual Studio: - Auto-indentation, making your code too much more readily. - IntelliSense is a component that allows you write code with more agility, completing statements, warning about errors,...

How does my code compile?

English: How does my code compile? C# runs in JIT compilation (Just in Time) that means your process of "read" and "convert" our statements are done before the code runs (compilation). It can read the code and translate it in compilation time as already said. If you get some errors before testing your project, you'll be warned at this time. C# also read and convert intermediate language in runtime by a component called CLR (Common Language runtime), in other words, this "translation" (called interpretation) is done while the program is executing. At the end, when code is successfully compiled, the result is a file with .exe extension, an executable program. Because of JIT compilation process, C# is considered a faster language than other similar structure languages (SOME PEOPLE MAY REFUTE THIS). Your code is read before application runs, while is read at the moment of execution. If you want to programming in C# all you need is a .N...

And how about C# Language

English: And how about C# Language...? Well, C# is one of .Net platform languages from Microsoft, and it was developed to be easy to learn, flexible, and multiplataformer. That means this language can run on any Operational System like MacOS, Linux and obviously Windows, and also in web with ASP NET technology, games with Unity engine, and another... .Net languages work through a virtual machine. Its purpose is managing some aspects of language (as security, memory manager, data typing...) and also "translate" the code to machine language (Do you remember that?) The base code is "translated" to an intermediate language, thought the component called CIL (Command intermediate language). This process is called compilation and it occurs before program runs. I won't be too much "technique" about these aspects, but you can learn more about the power of C# on Microsoft page. Português-BR:  E quanto à linguagem C# ...? Bem, o C...

What is Programming Language?

English: What is Programming Language? If you want to write instructions for a computer, you should do this writing through machine language. The machine only "understands" what you are writing through some special language based in binary logic. Eg: 1 for yes  0 to no The combination of these two values (often known as binary instructions) may result in certain behaviours that machine will execute. But it's too hard to us write or read commands in binary language. Being an intermediate between machine and human, we have programming language. The Programming languages are a kind of "Translator" and can "convert," our high level language instruction in low level language as binary statements. There are a lot of different languages in the world to communicate with the computer. Though in this article, I'll talk about C# language, the Microsoft language for developing desktop applications, web sites, games and mobile app...

How do write algorithms?

English: How do write algorithms? To write algorithms you should learn about programming logic, thought of this concept you will be able to thinking like a programmer, who understand how the machine "thinks". Imagine that you are writing a program that checks if one number, enter by the user is even. How will you get this information (about even number) to write your algorithm? Using logic you get the answer. Numbers divided by two and its rest are 0 will be even numbers. So, to write this algorithm, you should divide that number by two and check if the rest is 0, if yes, that number is even,if not, is odd. You should practice your brain to thinking like a programmer, and to do that, you can be solved exercises about programming logic, make your own algorithms to often situations (as an algorithm to calculate your age converted by days) and things like this. The only way to practicing your brain and open up your mind to logic is too much training. This ...
